I’m an artist based in Albuquerque and these days I’m focusing on small paintings! This requires seeing very well up close which is the one thing my freakishly near-sighted eyes do well.

My hope is that these paintings engage the viewer as they do me. I’d love for each creation to feel like a fragment of a dream; a little bit of weirdness combined with elements of comfort -maybe a bit of humor too..

Growing up near Madrid (a small town south of Santa Fe), I relied on books, movies and nature for entertainment. When I realized I could create my own imagery with a pencil or a paintbrush, I decided to become better at drawing and painting so that these imagined landscapes and characters could come to life and feel convincing to me.

My artistic journey includes obtaining an Associates Degree in Graphic Design from Pensacola State College and a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from Columbus College of Art & Design. Returning to New Mexico with my family and living in a city I love has helped me feel grounded and ready to branch out as an artist.
